How the calculation works
Base = (internal width + 2 × thickness) by (internal depth + 2 × thickness). Long walls run the full outer width; short walls fit between them.
Before you use the result
Butt joints, four walls on top of a full base, no lid. Cutting tolerance and adhesive gaps are excluded; build a scrap test corner first.
