How the calculation works
Rows = ceil(token count ÷ columns). Internal width = columns × diameter + gaps + edge clearances.
Before you use the result
One flat layer, with a square grid. External walls and finger access are additional; circle nesting could use less area.
A worked example
Tokens: 50 · Tokens per row: 8 · Token diameter (mm): 20 · Gap between tokens (mm): 1 · Internal clearance at each edge (mm): 2.
